I'm a single mum to two incredible girls who, it's fair to say, practically grew up in front of the camera! My journey into photography is deeply intertwined with my life as a mother. For me, my camera isn't just equipment, it's an extension of my memory and a constant companion.
If you've ever heard me say, "Give me a sec!" it's because I'm pulling out my camera to quickly capture the world's beauty, whether it's the golden light of sunset or a burst of genuine laughter.
I don't just love taking pictures; I adore capturing the unseen moments in my family's lives. Those tiny, split-second expressions, the spontaneous hugs, or the look of pure joy that would otherwise be forgotten straight away. These are the treasures I now have hanging on my wall to cherish forever. I believe the most beautiful moments are often the ones we don't pose for.
My approach
I am a documentary-style photographer at heart. This means I prefer to be a quiet observer, blending into the background to capture all the beautiful, honest moments you might miss. I know that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera, and that is absolutely fine! While the core of my work is storytelling, I always make time for some lightly guided posing shots of you as a couple. This isn't about rigid, unnatural poses; it's about helping you find beautiful, comfortable moments together that result in stunning portraits.
I am also always up for trying new things! Whether you dream of a dramatic silhouette shot at sunset, getting creative with light painting and sparklers, or have a completely unique idea, I'm ready to make it happen.
